Although we would like to think that most of us act like adults, there are the odd occasions where some of us struggle to grasp what is right and wrong.

We don't want anybody banned from the forum, so we need to put some guidelines in place for reference.

To begin with, we need to explain that a few of our members like to have a bit of banter between themselves. This is generally in good fun, but for the benefit of the majority of our members who may be uninterested in their 'debates', there is a separate 'banter' section for posting in. The general rules are still in place for the 'banter' section, but if you are of a nervous disposition the safest option is to avoid the section!!

We all know which ones cause offence. We try our best to filter out the worst words, but it would be appreciated if members did not attempt to re-create those words with anagrams and deliberately spaced out swear words.

Inappropriate links to adult web sites. Again, we all know about adult sites but don't need them splashed all over the forum where underage members have access to them. Keep it private.

Any kind of affiliate links will be removed.

Inappropriate images. As above, we would hope that members use some common sense as to what is appropriate to post in the main forum.

We don't want complaints about racism or even stronger offensive remarks. So anything deemed offensive or remarks that will only stir up trouble in this way will be removed without debate.

If anybody uses the email system to breach any of the above rules they will be dealt with in the same manner as if they were posted on the forum.

Where a member continues to flout the rules despite removal of posts or warnings, we will have no option but to block access to the forum until we have had time to discuss the matter privately. Nobody wants to see a member banned permanently.
